divh2Gup/Truck Loader/h2pReporting to the Production Supervisor, the GUP/Truck Loader is directly responsible for the inspection and cleaning of rail equipment, the clean-up around conveyor belts and machinery, and performing various tasks throughout the plant. Observes, monitors and reports any conditions that could lead to product non-conformity or other irregularity. Completes all required equipment pre-shift reports on any mobile machinery operated. This position has the organizational ability and authority, as defined by the Plant Production Supervisor, to participate in the implementation of safety programs to ensure the safety of all employees. This position is also specifically given the responsibility and authority to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product or process, or to the quality system, and to initiate, recommend or provide solutions./ppResponsibilities Duties:/pulliOperate and perform pre-shift inspections of mobile equipment. Report any defects immediately./liliParticipate in safety meetings and training sessions/liliInspect work areas for safety hazards before beginning any work activity/liliPerform general plant clean-up as needed or assigned/liliOccasionally lifts and carries equipment/materials of up to 100 pounds- with proper lift techniques and/or necessary lift assist equipment/liliRun sweeper, water truck and track mobile equipment/liliLoad dust and lime trucks/liliGather samples and report non-conformities related to products or processes/li/ulpJob Qualifications:/pulliMust be at least 18 years old/liliHS Diploma or GED required/liliAbility to work shift work with rotating schedule/liliRequired to achieve a passing score on a Entry-Level Basic Skills test in order to be considered for employment/liliIf offered a position, all candidates are required to complete and successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
