The American Girl Retail team is integral in providing lifetime memories to American Girl fans and their families. Our experiential retail stores provide shopping destinations like no other. Our in-store experiences range depending on location from Girl and Doll Salons, Full-Service Restaurants, Personal Shopping, Ear Piercing (Girl and Doll), hosting Parties/Celebrations to name a few. Job Description

The Dish Washer is located at the AG Retail Los Angeles location and reports directly to the Restaurant Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitary standards in a high-pressure, fast-paced restaurant kitchen environment.

What Your Impact Will Be:

• Ensure all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans are clean and sanitary according to health code standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining room area, equipment and tools, including floor sweeping, removal of garbage, and mopping/scrubbing/sanitizing all surfaces.
• Assist with side work assignments such as stock rotation and replenishment, proper food storage and cleaning, and station set-up and take-down.
• Works collaboratively with the team to build a positive work environment.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

• ServSafe certification, preferred.
• Restaurant experience, especially as a dishwasher, preferred.

• Ability to perform diverse physical tasks, including constant standing and walking, heavy lifting (30-50 lbs.), etc.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

The pay range for this position is between $18.42 and $19.52 per hour. The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.
