Faststream is partnering with a global energy company that is transforming access to cleaner, more reliable energy through floating LNG infrastructure and integrated power solutions. As the business continues to expand, they are seeking a Senior Engineer - Power Generation to provide technical expertise across the development, execution and ongoing support of power generation assets. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering team working on technically challenging international projects, supporting both new developments and operational assets.The Role As a Senior Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across a broad range of power generation projects, supporting engineering design, project execution and operational performance. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, equipment suppliers, EPC contractors and project stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable and efficient power solutions. Key responsibilities include:Provide technical engineering support for reciprocating engine and gas turbine power plants.Support the design, development and execution of LNG-to-Power and conventional power generation projects.Review engineering calculations, equipment specifications and vendor documentation.Participate in FEED studies, detailed engineering and technical evaluations.Support commissioning, troubleshooting and performance optimization of operating assets.Carry out technical assessments, root cause investigations and reliability improvements.Work closely with Operations, Projects, Commercial and HSSEQ teams throughout the project lifecycle.Provide technical input into equipment selection, procurement activities and contractor management.Support engineering studies covering fuel systems, combustion, emissions, efficiency and plant performance.Travel to project sites and operating facilities as required.About You We are looking for an engineer with a strong technical background in power generation and experience working across the design, delivery or operation of gas-fired power plants.US Citizenship / US Green Card will be required as no sponsorship is available for this role. You will ideally have:Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Experience within power generation engineering projects.Experience with reciprocating engines and/or gas turbine power plants.Knowledge of natural gas and diesel-fueled generation systems.Experience supporting EPC projects, Owner's Engineering or operating assets.Strong understanding of plant performance, reliability and engineering problem solving.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.Willingness to travel internationally when required.Why Apply?
