Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Operate within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director
• When needed, may be asked to float outside of primary unit to provide supplemental support (e.g., vital signs, IV placement, answering phones) without taking a primary patient assignment

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting
