The Opportunity

\n

We are looking for an experienced Property Manager in Edgewater, NJ with a proven track record managing market-rate residential communities , ideally in a luxury, Class A, or high-service environment.

\n

The ideal candidate is a confident leader, exceptional communicator, highly organized, technologically savvy, and passionate about delivering an outstanding resident experience.

\n

You will serve as the face of the community—leading your team, cultivating resident relationships, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring the property consistently reflects the high standards of JCMLiving.

What You’ll Lead

\n

\n
• Elevated Resident Experience – Build lasting relationships with residents and ensure every interaction reflects a high level of professionalism and service.
\n
• Community Performance – Drive strong occupancy, resident retention, leasing performance, and overall financial results.
\n
• Operational Excellence – Oversee all aspects of property operations with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
\n
• Team Leadership – Lead, coach, train, and develop office and maintenance professionals while creating a positive, accountable team culture.
\n
• Property Presentation – Maintain an exceptional standard of cleanliness, appearance, curb appeal, amenities, and overall property condition.
\n
• Lease & Revenue Management – Oversee leasing activity, renewals, collections, lease administration, and compliance.
\n
• Resident Relations – Proactively address resident needs and concerns while maintaining a service-oriented and solutions-focused approach.
\n
• Safety & Security – Ensure the community remains a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and employees.
\n
• Vendor & Community Relationships – Develop strong relationships with vendors, local officials, police, fire departments, and other community partners.
\n
• Team Development – Monitor performance, provide meaningful feedback, and create opportunities for employees to grow professionally.
\n
• Technology & Reporting – Utilize property management technology and reporting systems to operate efficiently and make informed decisions.

What We’re Looking For

\n

\n
• 2+ years of Property Manager experience managing market-rate residential properties
\n
• Experience with luxury, Class A, or high-end multifamily communities strongly preferred
\n
• A polished, professional presence and a genuine passion for hospitality and resident service
\n
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
\n
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail
\n
• Highly tech-savvy with the ability to learn and utilize property management systems
\n
• Strong financial, leasing, and operational understanding
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving
\n
• The ability to balance exceptional customer service with strong business results
\n
