Why You'll Love This Role As the Chief Development Officer, you'll work alongside our Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, and Advisory Councils, playing a key role in shaping the future of our organization. You'll lead a talented team dedicated to fundraising and grant management, and you’ll engage with major donors to help ensure we continue to be a force for good in the community. Develop innovative fundraising strategies, from major gifts to capital campaigns Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, corporations, and foundations Lead grant management efforts to secure vital resources Key Responsibilities Leadership : Guide the Resource Development team and act as a visionary for future fundraising initiatives Fundraising : Drive strategies for major gifts, planned giving, corporate partnerships, and annual campaigns Grant Management : Identify and pursue grant opportunities while ensuring compliance with reporting requirements Administration : Report progress to the CEO and Board, manage donor records, and ensure reconciliation with the Finance Department Team Management : Lead and inspire a team of development and grant professionals What You’ll Bring A Bachelor’s degree is preferred Proven success in fundraising , including major gifts, annual campaigns, and grant writing Stellar communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a high-performing team A passion for our mission and a commitment to driving positive change A desire to travel and engage with our communities frequently What We Offer Health, Dental, Vision, STD & LTD, Life & 401k Voluntary AFLAC and More!
