Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year (2 years preferred) License: Registered Nurse license (State or Compact) Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other units Description: This is a travel nursing position in Med Surg Telemetry. The nursing staff will work with an acute care trauma and surgical patient population. Nurses in this area will have a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. This role involves working in an interdisciplinary team to address each patient's specific needs. The unit specializes in trauma care but also provides care for orthopedic and urology patients. Collaboration with family practice physicians, hospitalists, and various surgical specialists is essential. Individualized attention will be provided to all patients hospitalized for illness, surgery, or observation. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in this field of specialty. The unit values teamwork and communication among the healthcare team members. Availability on holidays and every other weekend is required.
