PRN Hospital Phlebotomist - Early Mornings

Labcorp seeks a PRN phlebotomist for early morning shifts in Birmingham, Alabama. The role involves drawing blood specimens, processing samples, entering patient data, and providing customer service across potential multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
- Travel to additional collection sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program preferred
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation with clean driving record if applicable
