Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Oncology – New Ulm, MN

Shift: Day shift, 8 hours/day (08:00 – 04:30)

Hours/Week: 40 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract (FTE, part-time coverage 2-3 shifts/month)

License/Certs: MN RN or APRN license, Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Experience: Hematology/Oncology experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Manage outpatient patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies
• Collaborate closely with hematologist/oncologists, infusion teams, and nurse navigators
• Support patient care through assessments, treatment planning, and monitoring in Epic EMR
• Assist with supportive therapies, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy administration
• Educate patients on treatment options and care plans
• Provide outpatient consultation and coordinate follow-up care
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and patient support services

What You Need

• Minnesota RN license or APRN license (MN not in NLC or APRN compact)
• Board certification as Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hospital outpatient setting

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Strong communication and patient education skills
