Attendant

Job Summary The Attendant is a person specifically trained, competent, and performs assigned functions of care to the IHSS client in their residence under the direction, instruction and supervision of qualified Agency personnel/Agency’s Licensed Health Care Professional. In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager and/or the IHSS Clinical Program Manager. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties & Responsibilities Understand(s) and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures Understand(s) and promotes client rights Performs client services in accordance with the plan of care and Agency policy Completes appropriate service notes completely, accurately and in a timely manner as per Agency policy Reports changes in the client’s condition and needs to the supervisor Participates in all required orientation, training, competency and in-service programs as scheduled and necessary per Agency policy Is available for and participates in the supervisory visits per Agency direction Participates in coordination of client care, as required Required Skills & Knowledge 18 years of age or older Benefits & Perks Select Family Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Referral Program Flexible scheduling Paid, hands-on training Weekly pay Tuition Assistance Programs and Continuing Education opportunities Nursing programs for new graduates available!
