Receiving Associate

Receiving Associate - $18 - $21/hr

This is a temp-to-hire position.

Integrity Trade Services is seeking an experienced Order Puller for a client working with pipes, valves, and fittings.

Responsibilities:

• Receives and unloads freight both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Checks for damaged goods
• Delivers and retrieves product from storage areas
• Tags and issues product
• Stocks shelves and rotates inventory
• Assembles pallets or selects preassembled containers, inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding
• May operate forklift, reach truck or stand up order picker to move, transport, or hoist material
• Observe all safety precautions and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed
• Maintain Housekeeping in assigned work area
• Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager

Location: Hammond, IN

Schedule/Shift Details

• Monday - Friday
• 7:30am - 4:00pm
• Weekend availability optional

Qualifications

• Computer experience preferred (but not required)
• PVF industry experience preferre
• 1+ years' experience in shipping and receivin
• Excellent organizational and time management skill
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamic
• Capable of working a consistent schedule starting at 8AM
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Reliable transportation
• Committed to working safely and following policies and procedures of the operation
• Positive attitude; good team player
