Work Environment

This role will be situated in our outpatient office located in Old Bridge, NJ, where you will work directly with patients in a supportive, patient-focused environment. As a member of our team, you will work Monday through Friday, engaging with patients for 40 hours a week, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing impactful care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Tidelands, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive physical assessments to create individualized treatment plans for patients referred by physicians.
• Utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patient recovery, ensuring alignment with physician directives.
• Delivering exceptional customer service while contributing to the clinic's operational effectiveness and patient satisfaction ratings.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
• Educating patients and their caregivers about health management and incorporating them into the treatment plan to support optimal recovery.
• Meeting or exceeding utilization goals and other performance metrics to support both clinical and business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role offers the chance to work with a diverse range of patients, including those seeking treatment for orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurologic disorders, and sports-related ailments. Each patient's unique needs will shape your treatment approach, allowing you to refine your skills while making a tangible difference in their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and collaborators.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in evaluating and tracking patient progress.
• A genuine desire to build rapport with patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals and exceed expectations.

Preferred Experience

While we require a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preference will be given to candidates with extensive exposure to outpatient therapies or specialized areas such as sports medicine, pediatrics, or neurological rehabilitation. Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude toward patient care and collaboration are a must.
