Ultrasound TechnologistThe Ultrasound Technologist will operate equipment that utilizes sound waves to create images of the body's internal structures. Responsibilities include creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues to assist in accurate assessments.Location: Atlantis, FLNumber of Beds: 4 Scanners, 4 TablesStaffing: 4 Technologists per shift, 12-hour shiftsPatient Ratios: 1:1Type of Equipment: GE 1.5, Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI, and CT machinesEMR: MeditechRequired Skills:BLS CertificationRDMS & RVT CertificationMinimum of 2 years of hospital experience as an Ultrasound TechnologistPreferred Skills:ACLS Certification (not required)Critical thinker with a flexible approach to challengesAbility to work independently and adapt to varying situationsWillingness to work weekends and nightsScrub Color: Gray for Ultrasound Technologists.The facility is an acute care medical/surgical center with a specialization in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics, and bariatrics.Also recognized as a Teaching Facility with national rankings.
