Restaurant Manager

Ireland’s Four Provinces, a classic Irish pub in the thriving DC suburb of Falls Church, Virginia, seeks a service-oriented manager with leadership experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant. More specifically, the manager must be capable of the following parts of the job:

• Oversee timing, steps of service, speed and efficiency, and remain physically present on the floor during service.

• Train staff consistently to meet and exceed service standards, and maintain open lines of communication to create a positive work environment.

• Plan, organize and execute events for up to 250 guests.

• Assist with purchasing, track sales, run payroll, and actively manage inventory.

• Offer service support as needed. Some bartending experience preferred.

• Lead by example by adhering to policy, procedures and code of conduct.

• Prevent and diffuse situations that may create risk to the business.

• Ensure the restaurant operates efficiently every shift of every day.
