Bonus subject to applicable terms and conditions.Mental Health Therapist OpportunityWe are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join a small multidisciplinary team that provides Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to adolescents in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting. An ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, the ability to adapt to a variety of clinical situations, and proficiency in group and individual therapy. DBT experience is preferred but not required. This opportunity is open to both licensed clinicians and associate-level therapists working toward independent licensure. Providers must meet the Washington State definition of a Mental Health Professional.Licensed Mental Health ProfessionalResponsibilities:Conduct psychiatric/psychosocial assessments, including mental status examsDevelop comprehensive, individualized treatment plansProvide individual, family, and group psychotherapyDeliver evidence-based and supportive interventions (CBT, skills training, etc.)Monitor patient outcomes and evaluate treatment effectivenessMaintain accurate and timely EHR documentationCollaborate with clinical team and referral sourcesRequirements:Active WA license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW)Master's degree in behavioral health fieldAssociate Mental Health ProfessionalResponsibilities:Provide person-centered counseling, advocacy, and case managementDevelop treatment plans with measurable outcomesDeliver individual and/or group therapy under supervisionTailor interventions to meet diverse patient needsMaintain documentation and meet agency standardsCollaborate with care team and support patient care coordinationRequirements:Active WA associate license (LMHCA, LMFTA, LSWAIC, LASW)Eligible for and participating in clinical supervisionMaster's degree in behavioral health fieldPosition SummaryThe Licensed Mental Health Professional is a key role within the behavioral health department of MultiCare, responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy for patients. Treating a broad array of behavioral health disorders, mental illness and co-occurring illnesses, within this role you will be able to apply evidenced-based and evidence-informed outpatient therapy and clinical service skill sets in your daily work functions.Responsibilities:You will complete psychiatric or psychosocial assessments, including mental status examsYou will develop with the individual in service, an assessment and comprehensive treatment plan that identifies the unique needs of each individual and may provide individual, couples, family, psychoeducation, and group therapyYou will provide psychotherapy, supportive therapy, i.e. problem solving, role-playing, modeling and support, social skill development, and assertiveness training to increase patient social and interpersonal activities in community settingsYou will document all encounters inpatient electronic health record according to organization policies and procedures; monitor outcome measurementsYou will collaborate with referral sources and other members of the patient's clinical teamYou will provide ongoing measurement of the individual in service outcomes and evaluation of intervention effectivenessRequirements:Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related fieldA Mental Health Professional as defined within HB 1724 one of these higher credentials are held: Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), SW Independent Clinical Lic (LICSW)About Greater Lakes Mental HealthGreater Lakes Mental Health is part of MultiCare's Behavioral Health Network, serving more than 10,000 individuals across Pierce County each year. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $39.85 - $57.35 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
