Job Details Location: Cambridge, MA 02138 Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts, days/nights as needed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600 Orientation: Weekly start orientation available Schedule Notes: Weekend rotation every other weekend; holiday coverage may be required during winter holidays Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license with the ability to work in Massachusetts Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar critical care or ICU nursing setting Current BLS certification from AHA Current ACLS certification from AHA EPIC experience required Comfortable floating between ICU and IMCU as needed Must have been separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be considered Willingness to participate in rotating day/night scheduling and weekend coverage Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the ICU Monitor patient status, assess changes quickly, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team on treatment plans Administer medications, manage complex therapies, and support invasive and non-invasive interventions Document accurately in EPIC and maintain timely clinical records Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges within the ICU and IMCU Respond to changing patient needs in a high-acuity, team-oriented healthcare environment Follow unit protocols, infection prevention standards, and patient safety best practices Apply now for this Cambridge, Massachusetts ICU Registered Nurse travel contract and join a rewarding critical care team today.
