What You'll Be Doing Efficiently manage promotional projects, minimizing cost by working with Engineering Resource Leaders to estimate Professional Services man hours accurately and achieving objectives. Successfully manage commercial contracts on one or more projects of various sizes. Ensure timely payment of invoices, process Project Change Notices, review the monthly Office Earnings Report, and keep the project plan in Vision current. Maintain project control by tracking budget, schedule commitments, and quality standards. Utilize available project tools for project control. Participate in development of major technical, cost, scheduling, and performance decisions on assigned projects. Familiarize with project scope, specifications, deliverables, and design criteria; align team schedule and budget with deliverables. Work with client teams to define scope, goals, and deliverables supporting business objectives. Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly, championing the Project Change Notice process and promoting a positive change‑management culture. Lead efforts to build a productive team within Hargrove and with the client, using rewards to recognize outstanding contributions. Coordinate resource requirements with other ongoing project work and align expectations. Plan and organize team work. Communicate plans to the team, leadership, and client, aligning expectations. Conduct weekly coordination meetings with the team. Maintain timely and accurate reporting with weekly and monthly reports and a comprehensive action item list. Review engineering documents, vendor submittals, fabrication drawings, and other construction submittals for compliance with drawings, specifications, and project objectives. Ensure all documentation is reviewed and checked against vendor submittals, specifications, and interdisciplinary requirements. Ensure standard project work processes are followed by all team members across engineering, procurement, and construction phases. Interview discipline leads to maintain up‑to‑date progress against man‑hour analysis. Take overall financial responsibility for each project, with discipline leads producing deliverables within budget. Assess performance of project team members and work with resource leadership to build a qualified, motivated team. Ensure project documentation is properly reviewed and approved by the client. Provide construction phase support, start‑up assistance, and respond to RFIs as needed. Manage timeliness of client decision‑making and package approval. Promote positive long‑term client relationships that add additional services. Complete project closeout as required by the client. Proactively manage client needs at all stages of the project. Ideal Background Education Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited university is preferred. Certification Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred. Experience This position requires up to 10 years of relevant experience in engineering and project management. Knowledge and application of company engineering standards and project controls tools. Demonstrated proficiency in complex project management. Ability to lead a team to deliver on commitments. Comprehensive understanding of the functions of all engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction processes. Ability to manage client relationships in complex situations. Ability to relate easily to others in the business community such as customers, suppliers, contractors, government, professional and trade associations. Ability to handle stress with poise. Understanding of existing and potential customer needs and preferences. Ability to delegate authority appropriately. Ability to clearly communicate expectations and requirements to team members and structure accountability. Ability to set priorities. Demonstrated leadership ability with team orientation. Coaching and mentoring skills and experience. Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent presentation skills. Excellent leadership and organizational skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
