Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week outpatient assignment requiring BLS certification and an active MN state PT license.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
• 8-hour day shifts with potential to work holidays; no weekends or on-call required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MN state Physical Therapist license required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Education level appropriate to state licensure requirements
• Two professional references required for consideration: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one from a peer or supervisor in the same specialty within the last 3 years
• All certifications must be active at time of consideration — no pending certifications accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and delivering PT programs to help patients recover mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities
• Evaluates and documents patient information, tracks therapeutic progress, and recommends treatment adjustments as needed
• Educates patients and family members on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Clinicians who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must disclose this; a minimum 6-month gap between end date and submission date is required for prior Sanford Health employees
