About the Role
- The Full Stack Developer will design, develop, and test enterprise‑grade software in an Agile environment. Working with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and cloud technologies, the role focuses on building robust RESTful APIs and modern front‑end interfaces. The position is based in Tysons, VA and requires strong collaboration with business lines and IT stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Build and expose RESTful APIs and integrate with relational and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Postgres.
- Develop responsive front‑end components with Angular and modern UI patterns.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and Rancher, and manage containerization with Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, and EKS.
- Write unit and integration tests with JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Jest, Cucumber, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Maintain code quality and security practices, including static analysis and security/data flow reviews.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Leverage GenAI‑enabled tools such as GitHub Copilot, LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows to enhance productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of full‑stack software development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Strong expertise in Java (Java 17/21), Spring Boot, and RESTful API design
- Front‑end development with Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with MongoDB, Postgres, and other relational/NoSQL databases
- Hands‑on CI/CD and containerization tools: Git, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, Rancher
- Proficiency in testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Jest, Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and Kubernetes (Istio, Helm, EKS)
- Experience with modern IDEs: IntelliJ, VSCode
- Familiarity with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently with limited direction
- Experience in enterprise‑grade software development in Agile environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python
- Knowledge of Rafay platform
- Familiarity with SonarQube
- Exposure to GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows)
- Additional cloud or DevOps experience
