Work Arrangement: 2 days/week onsite, 3 days remote

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, high-visibility technology initiatives. This role focuses on driving Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, vendor management, and enterprise system implementations within a structured, matrixed environment.

Core Responsibilities & Key Skills

• RFP & Procurement Leadership: Proven background developing RFPs, evaluating proposals, managing vendor relationships, and facilitating contract selection for large-scale IT systems.

• Project Governance & Lifecycle: 5+ years applying formal project management principles, system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, and structured PM frameworks from initiation to closeout.

• Executive Stakeholder Management: Direct experience dedicating 15 20% of time to executive updates, facilitating sponsor meetings, building consensus, and managing cross-functional alignment.

• Conflict & Risk Management: Strong ability to resolve high-priority project conflicts, manage competing requirements, monitor scope/budget/schedule controls, and escalate risks effectively.

• Data-Driven Problem Solving: Skilled in data analysis, identifying system bottlenecks, and translating complex technical needs into actionable project plans.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of Project Manager / Program Manager experience in matrixed organizations.

• Public Sector (Preferred): Prior experience in government or public-sector IT projects.

• Certifications (Preferred): PMP, CAPM, PfMP, or equivalent.

• Portfolio Requirement: Must submit a Project Log/Portfolio detailing past project experience alongside your application.
