Sioux Chief Manufacturing is looking for a Regional Sales Support (RSS) team member to partner with our Regional Sales Managers and independent sales representatives to grow sales, strengthen customer relationships, and keep the sales process moving.

The ideal candidate is highly proactive, organized, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership. You’ll need to anticipate needs, follow up relentlessly, solve problems, and keep multiple moving pieces on track.

What You'll Do

As a Regional Sales Support team member, you will:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for independent rep agencies and field sales personnel
• Partner closely with the Regional Sales Manager to plan, forecast, and manage the sales territory
• Track and follow up on quotes, samples, returns, specifications, and other sales opportunities
• Enter and maintain accurate sales activity and correspondence in Salesforce
• Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve unacceptable margin levels
• Build strong relationships with customers and understand their business needs
• Administer and communicate sales programs, rep sales plans, promotions, rebates, and special pricing
• Manage specification job chase projects and proactively follow up on opportunities
• Coordinate custom quotes across departments and own the follow-through all the way to the customer
• Maintain and utilize the Market Net Database and communicate special pricing to sales management, customers, and reps
• Develop strong product and installation knowledge to support customers and identify opportunities for upselling
• Provide technical assistance and help reps understand product features, benefits, installation procedures, and selling      strategies
• Support plant tours, customer roundtables, sales meetings, training, and other sales events
• Stay current on industry news, products, and competitive activity

What You'll Bring

• Strong verbal, written, and listening skills
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Strong computer skills
• Previous sales or customer service experience in the plumbing industry is a plus
• Plumbing product and industry knowledge is preferred
• A bachelor's degree is preferred, but relevant experience matters

More About the Role

This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and works closely with sales representatives, customers, and internal departments across Sioux Chief. The position includes at least one trip per quarter to call on key and target accounts and participate in rep training. Travel may also include customer events, association meetings, and trade shows. You should also be comfortable walking the plant floor and job sites, lifting products, and helping set up displays using hand and power tools when needed.
