Bucket Truck Operator Banner Flag Installation

Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, safety-driven Bucket Truck Driver/Operator to help bring event and streetscape installations to life. In this role, you will drive/operate a bucket truck to install banners, flags, and custom décor for festivals, city programs, and major events. What You’ll Do Safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts for banner and flag installations Install and remove street pole banners, event signage, feather flags, and decorative elements. Install & Repair aluminum flagpoles- including digging and mixing concrete Work closely with the install crew to execute layouts efficiently and accurately Load, prep, and organize banners, hardware, and install kits before each job Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections Follow all safety procedures, including fall protection and traffic awareness Ensure banners and hardware are installed cleanly, securely, and aligned properly Travel to job sites including downtown streets, event venues, and festival grounds Assist with shop prep and post-event tear-down when needed What We’re Looking For Valid driver’s license Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift 30+ lbs and handle physical, hands‑on work Strong attention to detail (clean installs matter in our work) Team player with a positive, get‑it‑done attitude Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours Bonus Points If You Have Experience with banner, flag, or signage installation Experience with digging & concrete setting OSHA or aerial lift certification Experience working festivals, city programs, or outdoor events Basic mechanical or rigging knowledge Work Environment Outdoor, on‑location work (streets, event sites, fairgrounds) Mix of independent equipment operation and team‑based installs Some early mornings & late evenings, w/ optional weekend work—especially during event season Pay & Perks Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Opportunities to grow into lead installer or crew supervisor roles Be part of high-visibility projects seen across cities, festivals, and major events #J-18808-Ljbffr SWBC PEO
