Work Environment\nThis role is entirely remote, supporting our commitment to work-life balance. You can work from the comfort of your home while engaging with clients via secure telehealth technology. Flexible scheduling during normal business hours, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, provides ease of access for both therapists and clients alike.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the nature and extent of mood disorders in clients, focusing on their symptoms, coping mechanisms, and overall mental health history. \n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that their specific needs, preferences, and goals are met. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders. \n
- Engage in psychoeducation for clients and their families regarding mood disorders, providing guidance on treatment options, self-care practices, and strategies to improve mental health outcomes. \n
- Monitor clients' progress throughout the treatment process and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plan based on clients’ evolving needs. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals regularly to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, integrating medical and therapeutic interventions. \n
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with state and federal regulations. \n
- Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to share insights, best practices, and stay informed of the latest research in mood disorder treatments. \n
- Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health disorders within the community. \n
Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders including depression, anxiety-related issues, and bipolar disorder. You will interact with a broad spectrum of clients from various backgrounds, ensuring tailored support that respects their unique experiences and cultural contexts. Your compassionate approach will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their challenges and foster resilience.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCMFT, LMFT, or LCPC in Maryland. \n
- Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders with demonstrated effectiveness in improving client outcomes. \n
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers. \n
- Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. \n

- At least 3 years of experience in providing therapy specifically related to mood disorders. \n
- Experience working within a telehealth framework, showcasing the ability to build therapeutic relationships in a virtual environment. \n
- Demonstrated success in implementing therapeutic interventions that lead to positive client outcomes. \n
The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
