Industrial Maintenance Technician

Second Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician Location: 1500 N River Rd Lithia Springs, GA Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 8pm - 4am Pay: Hourly pay ranging from $29/hr to $39/hr based on experience and skill assessment. Hourly incentives and a $2500 sign‑bonus paid after 180 days. Annual $500 tool allowance, $150 shoe allowance. Uniforms provided and cleaned. Position Summary Performs preventative maintenance on building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. Observes mechanical devices in operation, performs diagnostic routines, troubleshoots root causes, makes adjustments and repairs, performs electrical diagnostics, dismantles devices using hand and power tools, maintains maintenance shop and tool rooms, follows work orders, tracks preventative maintenance utilizing Maximo CMMS, ensures compliance with OSHA and other guidelines, and stays current with industry trends. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment and systems. Observe mechanical devices in operation and perform diagnostic routines to locate root causes. Make appropriate adjustments and repairs. Perform electrical diagnostics on equipment and make repairs based on diagnosis. Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, hand and power tools. Maintain a maintenance shop, storage closets, and tool rooms in an orderly fashion. Complete all work orders within assigned time periods. Maintain material handling equipment inventory. Track and complete preventative maintenance using Maximo CMMS. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other federal, state, and local guidelines. Maintain peer relationships to share issues and ideas. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED certificate. 3–4 years of experience repairing industrial equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, lift trucks, and conveyor systems. Experience in forklift repair preferred. Proficient in mechanical and electrical diagnostics, tool use, and maintenance procedures. Ability to work in high places, freezing cold spaces, indoor/outdoor environments, and anywhere within the building. Second shift availability (Sunday – Thursday 8pm–4am). Successful passing of drug screen and background check. Able to lift or move up to 100 lbs during shift. Previous experience in maintenance of hydraulic, water, or sewerage pumps, and ability to explain building utility drawings is a plus. Veterans and active military members encouraged to apply.
