Phlebotomist Full Time

Job Summary Phlebotomy Full Time position located at 15151 National Avenue, Los Gatos, CA 95032. Work schedule Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with rotating weekends. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other required tests. Enter patient information accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. California state‑issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) or an application for a license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire. Preferred Qualifications One or more years of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at LabCorp. Experience with geriatric and pediatric patients. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
