About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient medical/surgical experience required. License: State or Compact license must be in hand at the time of submittal. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - Recent Epic experience (within 6 months). - Must be comfortable with patient ratios of 1:6. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical specialty. The schedule offers a 36 or 48-hour work week option. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Patient care involves adults and geriatrics. There are 10 rooms and 10 beds in the unit. Daily census averages around 8 patients. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. Familiarity with isolation precautions and PPE is essential. Skills in nasal cannula use, non-invasive airway management, and peripheral line care/management are required. The candidate must be able to work alongside a diverse healthcare team and provide high-quality patient care. The facility aims for high standards in patient safety and quality management.
