RN Manager of Education

The RN Manager of Education opportunity offers the chance to lead professional development at a highly respected community hospital located southeast of Los Angeles. The RN Manager of Education will join a 200+ bed accredited community medical center recognized with an "A" Hospital Safety Grade and certified by The Joint Commission. Serving a growing population. Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Operations, the RN Manager of Education will collaborate closely with nursing leadership, department directors, and interdisciplinary teams across the organization. This role provides leadership to the education department while supporting managers throughout the hospital in developing clinical competency, regulatory readiness, and ongoing professional growth for staff at every level.

The RN Manager of Education oversees education programs that impact clinical departments throughout the hospital, from new employee orientation to advanced competency validation and continuing education. This is a highly collaborative environment where educators work alongside engaged nursing leaders, experienced clinicians, and dedicated physicians to create meaningful learning experiences that improve patient care and staff confidence.

The RN Manager of Education will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive education programs that support orientation, annual competencies, leadership development, and clinical excellence. Responsibilities include assessing learning needs, developing educational materials, coordinating continuing education offerings, mentoring educators, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The RN Manager of Education will also partner with operational leaders to improve clinical performance, support quality initiatives, and promote evidence-based practice throughout the organization.
