Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis Department: Accounting Master Department: Accounting Report to: VP of Finance Effective Date: January 6, 2026 FLSA Exempt Status: Exempt Schedule: Hybrid; 9am-5pm M-F, must be flexible for business needs Job Summary: The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager oversees the financial analysis team, playing a key role in strategic decision-making and financial planning. This position involves managing financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting processes to support organizational goals. Duties/Responsibilities: Lead a team of financial analysts, providing guidance and mentorship. Oversee financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting activities. Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant financial information. Conduct variance analysis and present findings to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations for financial decision-making. Develop and maintain financial models for strategic planning. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards. Required Skills/Abilities: Leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficient in financial software and Excel. In-depth knowledge of financial principles and regulations. Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 5+ years of experience in financial analysis. Previous managerial experience is preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. Capable of repetitive hand and arm motions as well as extended periods of typing. Capable of looking at a screen for extended periods or entire shifts. Some travel may be required to attend cross-functional team meetings or support product launch events. Work Schedule (Exempt): This is a full-time, exempt position. The role requires the flexibility to work the hours necessary to meet business needs, which may include extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Work schedules and expectations may be adjusted based on operational priorities and organizational demands. Positions in our production facilities may lead to regular exposure to cannabis plant material, dust, and other potential allergens. Individuals with sensitivity to pollen, molds, or strong odors may experience discomfort. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required.
