Role: Entry-level Preschool Toddler Teacher Primrose School of Forest Hill, 1657 B Robin Circle, Forest Hill, MD 21050. Job Summary Are you eager to make a difference in the lives of young children? Responsibilities Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children. Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are provided. Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge. Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth. Build strong and trusting relationships with families. Monitor and document developmental milestones. Communicate daily with families through a digital app. Qualifications Strong classroom management and communication skills. Passion for nurturing and educating young children. No prior experience required; training will be provided. Must be at least 19 years old. Must pass a Maryland State and FBI background check and fingerprinting. Must have a current CPR/First Aid Certification (or be willing to obtain within 90 days). Prior experience in a licensed child care center preferred. Must meet Maryland State Requirements: 90‑Hour Infant & Toddler Certification, CDA Credential in Infant/Toddler or higher degree in Early Childhood Education, or college coursework in child development, early childhood, or a related field with MSDE approval.
