Location: San Francisco, CA 94110
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day or Night | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Schedule: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM / 6:00 PM–6:30 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Psych/Behavioral Health opportunity in a hospital setting in San Francisco, CA .

The ideal candidate must have recent CNA experience in Psychiatric/Behavioral Health and hospital-based Med-Surg experience . This role requires a compassionate, patient-focused professional who is comfortable working with patients in both behavioral health and acute-care environments.

Requirements

Active CNA certification
Psychiatric or Behavioral Health CNA experience required
Hospital experience in a Med-Surg department required
Experience providing direct patient care in an acute-care setting
Ability to work 12-hour Day or Night shifts
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, mobility, and feeding
Monitor and report changes in patient condition
Support patients in a Psychiatric/Behavioral Health setting
Assist the nursing team with patient care in a hospital Med-Surg environment
Maintain patient safety and follow hospital policies and procedures
Document care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
