Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for an ongoing locum tenens role supporting a high-volume emergency department in Texas City. This position involves providing comprehensive ED care within a general, high-acuity environment, including procedures such as intubation, procedural sedation, fracture reduction, chest tube insertion, CPR, suturing, I&D, and central line placement. The schedule includes 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts, with two shadow shifts for orientation. There is no call involvement or specific weekend/night coverage required. Support staff includes nursing personnel and potentially on-call specialists, with no additional operational details specified.

Clinical Scope

Requirements

• Active Texas medical license
• DEA registration
• MD degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred but can be waived for strong, experienced providers)
