Data scientist – Generative AI Engineer

Experience: 3–6 Years

Type: Contract

Location: Remote

Compensation: $40–$60/hour

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Generative AI Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in building and deploying LLM-powered applications, RAG systems, AI agents, and production-grade Generative AI solutions .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI and LLM-powered applications .
\n
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
\n
• Develop AI agents, copilots, conversational AI, and intelligent search solutions .
\n
• Integrate LLMs from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or open-source model ecosystems.
\n
• Implement prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and semantic retrieval .
\n
• Evaluate LLM outputs for accuracy, relevance, hallucinations, and overall response quality .
\n
• Optimize GenAI applications for performance, scalability, latency, and cost .
\n

Key Requirements

\n
• 3–6 years of experience in AI/ML, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, or AI Engineering .
\n
• Strong programming skills in Python .
\n
• Hands-on experience building applications using LLMs and Generative AI .
\n
• Strong understanding of RAG architecture, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector search .
\n
• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph , or similar.
\n
• Experience working with LLM APIs and/or open-source models .
\n
• Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, FAISS, Chroma, or similar .
\n
• Understanding of NLP, Transformers, attention mechanisms, and Machine Learning fundamentals .
\n
• Experience developing REST APIs and production AI services .
\n
