Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal with 3-5 years of experience in Connecticut state and federal courts to support a busy litigation practice. Experience in New York and Massachusetts courts will also be considered. This role is ideal for a paralegal who takes ownership of their work, and brings a strong foundation in multi-jurisdictional litigation support. The Paralegal will support multiple attorneys and work collaboratively with other paralegals to ensure efficient case management and high-quality client service. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and file litigation documents, including pleadings, complaints, summonses, subpoenas, and discovery requests and responses Manage and maintain litigation calendars, ensuring compliance with state court rules and federal court deadlines Electronically file documents in Connecticut state courts and federal courts using CM/ECF Conduct legal research related to court rules, procedures, filing requirements, and jurisdiction-specific practices Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors Organize, maintain, and manage case files using a document management system Assist attorneys with trial, arbitration, and hearing preparation, including exhibit coordination, witness preparation, and logistics Support discovery and e-discovery efforts, including document organization, review coordination, and production Work independently and collaboratively to manage multiple matters Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience Demonstrated experience in Connecticut state and federal courts Experience in New York and Massachusetts courts preferred Strong knowledge of court procedures, filing requirements, and calendaring rules Proficiency with electronic filing systems Experience with document management systems (NetDocuments preferred) Experience with discovery, e-discovery processes and e-discovery platforms (Everlaw preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-pace environment Willingness to work overtime as needed Competitive salary and year-end performance based bonus.
