Facility & ED Overview

• 80+ bed acute care hospital
• ED size: 17 beds + 8 vertical chair rooms
• Trauma Level III / Primary Stroke Center
• ~85 ED patients/day

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee entire Emergency Department operations
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow
• Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Lead performance improvement initiatives
• Handle employee relations and team development
• Maintain patient satisfaction and service recovery
• Occasionally assist with hands-on patient care
• Round on night shift staff when needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 3+ years recent ED leadership experience
• • Charge Nurse experience acceptable
  • ICU charge experience may be considered

Certifications (timelines after hire)

• ACLS: within 60 days
• BLS: required
• NIH Stroke Scale: within 90 days
• PALS: within 90 days
• TNCC or ATCN: within 6 months

Compensation

• Hourly Range:
• • $44.27 (min)
  • $61.99 (max – senior leadership level)
• Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case
