Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Join Emplify Health by Gundersen's Research Institute team as an IRB Coordinator, where your strong communication skills and attention to detail will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines while supporting groundbreaking research initiatives. Primary Responsibilities Serves as administrative support to ensure the effective functioning of the Human Subjects Committee (HSC)/IRB under the leadership of the Chair of the HSC/IRB. Ensures the HSC/IRB complies with all federal rules and regulations Monitors the regulatory environment and recommends changes, as needed, to institutional officials and provides input for policy and procedural changes that ensure compliance. Reviews proposed research, Informed Consent documents and amendment-specific content for compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Recommends category of review, assesses risk and evaluates the need for further clinical or professional review of research. Monitors for and reports serious non-compliance issues/concerns to the IRB Chair.
