DescriptionMain skill sets are:• MS Fabric• Power BI• interaction with new AI tools Challenge is that now infrastructure is built- how do we deploy person to build better technology to visualize stuff moving forward—new AI to interact with dataJOB DETAILS FROM MANAGER:• Team has been Building structure for last little while—was hiring people that were sql heavy and reverse engineers and can build out infrastructure—heavy lifting is done now• Don’t need someone to come in and do that type of work but similar exp is still needed• Investment baking/ cap markets Product exp is great to have – banking type products- derivatives, interest rate products (stuff that creates market and counterparty risk)• MS Fabric is must have experience —now they built out infrastructure- need people to help with more visualization tools- tableau and power Bi, people that understand building UI’s and other visualization tools• Team will refocus efforts from building infrastructure but going around market / counterparty risk area—look at process improvement across whole stack—look at processes through steps and figure out more efficient way to execute that process—where AI comes into play• Manager knows AI is new so he understand that someone will not be an expert—but if people have been exposing other process improvement processes then they can take on new change management approach (AI)• Can they take process and create agent that will execute Skills:• Expert in SQL• Expert in all MS products• Expert Data analysis and infrastructure design• MS Fabric• Experience using AI tools for Jira work• Experience using AI tools for Data analysisJOB DETAILS FROM SYSTEM THAT ARE MORE DETAILED:• Expert everything SQL• MICROSFT FABRIC –• automate regulatory reporting processes• data architecture• process automationFunctionaly- develop detailed requirements and write them all in Jira - personal understands the process so well that they can write the automation themselves and then the developer picks up and executesBackground- really good data analysts or BAs that taught themselves how to code or people that grew up developers and is able to connect with the business, understand the business and able to work with the businessRole OverviewWells Fargo is seeking a highly technical contractor to join the Market & Counterparty Regulatory Reporting team, supporting the delivery of accurate, timely, and regulator-aligned reporting (e.g., FR Y 14Q, CCAR).This role sits at the intersection of risk subject matter expertise and technology delivery, with a primary mandate to:• Learn and deconstruct current reporting and stress processes• Identify inefficiencies and manual dependencies• Design and propose scalable automation solutions• Partner with technology teams to deliver these solutions into productionThe position directly supports ongoing efforts to modernize reporting infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and reduce regulatory risk.Key Responsibilities1. Automation & Solution Design• Develop future-state automation proposals aligned with enterprise technology strategy• Translate business processes into scalable technical designs, including:Data pipelinesAggregation logicReporting layers• Evaluate modernization opportunities such as:Migration of legacy SQL-based processes to modern application frameworks (e.g., Java-based ETL)Consolidation of fragmented reporting workflows into structured infrastructure• Ensure solutions:Meet regulatory accuracy and auditability requirementsImprove performance, scalability, and control environments3. Requirements & Delivery Managemento Capture detailed business and technical requirements in Jira, including:Epics, features, and user storiesAcceptance criteria aligned with regulatory and data validation standardso Partner with technology developers to:Refine backlog itemsEnsure correct interpretation of requirementsSupport testing and validationDrive end-to-end delivery lifecycle: Design Build Test Production deployment4. Reporting & Visualization Enablement• Incorporate modern visualization and analytics tools where appropriate:Power BI and Tableau for reporting and insights delivery• Leverage these tools to:Reduce manual report generationEnable self-service analytics for stakeholdersImprove transparency into risk metrics and reporting outputs6.
