Job Overview MUSC Health - Columbia Medical Centers is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a growing practice in Columbia, SC. The provider will work in collaboration with a dedicated Anesthesia Care Team comprised of experienced CRNAs and board‑certified anesthesiologists. This role will focus on a broad mix of cases across MUSC Health’s campuses in Columbia, SC. Compensation & Benefits $50,000 commencement bonus. Competitive base compensation for 40 hours plus additional hourly call pay. Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility. Top‑tier compensation package with employer‑funded retirement plan. 7 weeks PTO, increasing to 8 weeks in year three. $2,500 CME allowance. Epic EMR platform. Malpractice coverage. Minimum Training, Education, and Experience Experience administering major vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, and orthopedic anesthesia, as well as anesthesia for outpatient surgery. Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. For those hired after March 1, 2019: a master’s degree or higher with a concentration in Nurse Anesthesia. Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits. Required Licensure, Certifications, and Registrations Must be recognized as an APRN or be eligible, with current license to practice, or eligibility to obtain practice in the state of South Carolina. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required; certification may be obtained from an American Health Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Provider.
