A well-established, sophisticated Family Office / Private Holding Company in Fairfield County, CT is seeking a Director of Corporate Operations & Investor Relations to join its close-knit team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day investor relations activities, including investor communications, inquiries, documentation, and ongoing administrative support.
\n
• Coordinate investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions, partnership records, and related investment administration processes.
\n
• Serve as a key liaison between senior leadership, investors, and external legal, accounting, tax, and compliance professionals.
\n
• Coordinate legal and compliance-related matters, including KYC requirements, investor documentation, agreements, and ongoing reporting obligations.
\n
• Facilitate tax reporting processes by coordinating with external tax advisors, organizing relevant financial documentation, and ensuring timely distribution of investor tax materials.
\n
• Maintain accurate investor records, investment documentation, and partnership information across internal systems.
\n
• Track important deadlines, reporting requirements, and deliverables to ensure timely execution of investor and investment-related activities.
\n
• Identify opportunities to streamline investor relations workflows, improve recordkeeping, and enhance operational efficiency.
\n
• Support broader corporate operations, ensuring that internal administrative processes, systems, and documentation are organized and maintained effectively.
\n
• Work closely with senior leadership on operational priorities, corporate initiatives, and special projects.
\n
• Coordinate with outside professional service providers on various corporate, legal, financial, and administrative matters.
\n
• Assist with technology and systems initiatives, including the implementation of new platforms, improved document management, and more efficient workflows.
\n
• Oversee general office administration and day-to-day operational needs, ensuring a professional and well-organized working environment.
\n
• Proactively identify process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and take ownership of responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Qualifications & Requirements:

\n

\n
• Direct investor relations experience is required, ideally with exposure to investment operations and investor administration.
\n
• Familiarity with partnership structures, capital calls, distributions, investor onboarding, KYC, and related documentation.
\n
• Experience coordinating with legal, tax, accounting, compliance, and other external financial professionals.
\n
• Understanding of investor reporting requirements, tax documentation, and investment-related administrative processes.
\n
• Prior experience within a family office, private investment firm, investment management firm, or comparable financial services organization is strongly preferred.
\n
• Ability to manage broader corporate and administrative responsibilities within a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
\n
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new technology platforms and systems.
\n
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
\n
• Polished communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to interact confidently with sophisticated investors and senior financial professionals.
\n
• A proactive, adaptable, and hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Base Salary : $150-180k base plus bonus, benefits, and other perks

\n

\n
