Summary
Join a leading mobile diagnostic healthcare provider as a General Sonographer serving healthcare facilities throughout the Albany, GA region. Position Details
Position: General Sonographer
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Location: Albany, GA
Schedule: Day Shift (4x10s or 5x8s)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible Start Times)
Key Responsibilities
Perform mobile ultrasound examinations at healthcare facilities.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images.
Upload images electronically for radiologist interpretation.
Verify physician orders and patient identification before each exam.
Travel between assigned facilities using a company-provided vehicle.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and company vehicle.
Communicate with dispatch and clinical teams throughout the day.
Complete required documentation and billing accurately.
Deliver compassionate, professional patient care.
Minimum Requirements
ARDMS or CCI Certification (Required)
Echo and Vascular ultrasound experience (Required)
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Valid Driver's License
COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and travel between facilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience performing portable/mobile ultrasound exams
Skilled in general, vascular, and echocardiography imaging
Comfortable working in nursing homes, home care, and other healthcare settings
Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
