Position Retail Sales Associate - Part Time Shift Availability: 20-25 hours per week; weekend availability strongly preferred Location: 1220 Buchholzer Blvd Suite C, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 About the Role As a Retail Sales Associate at Curaleaf, you will be the face of the brand, guiding customers through product exploration and delivering high-quality service. You will create a welcoming, informative, inclusive, and engaging experience, recommending products, assisting at the register, and helping first-time shoppers. What You’ll Do Customer Experience & Teamwork: Greet and assist guests professionally to ensure an exceptional experience; build genuine connections; ask thoughtful questions; offer personalized product advice; resolve concerns to ensure satisfaction; encourage loyalty by signing guests up for rewards programs; contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and upbeat store atmosphere. Operations & Store Standards: Open/close the store, handle cash, follow procedures; check IDs and update customer profiles; process transactions accurately; keep the store clean, organized, and stocked; support inventory tasks including restocking, fulfilling online orders, and counting products. Sales & Performance: Meet and aim to exceed daily sales goals through upselling and product knowledge; highlight deals and complementary items; stay updated on promotions and product changes; adapt to a fast-paced environment; take on extra duties to support the team. What You’ll Bring High school diploma or GED. At least 6 months of customer-facing or sales experience with a focus on service and satisfaction. Minimum 6 months of experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays. Excellent communication skills to connect with customers and team members. Strong multitasking and prioritization skills; comfortable with learning new tools and technologies to support operations and customer engagement. Solid time management and organizational skills; de-escalation techniques with a calm, solution-oriented approach to customer concerns. Basic math and computer proficiency to support transactions and reporting. Positive, proactive mindset with a focus on guest experience; strong conflict resolution abilities; team-first attitude; ability to build rapport and lasting customer relationships. Collaborative spirit and a commitment to working well within a team. Even Better If You Have Background in a sales role with KPI tracking and meeting targets. Familiarity with e-commerce systems and order fulfillment. Experience in a regulated retail setting. Physical & Work Environment Physical: Stand for extended periods; ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally; close vision required. The role may require bending, reaching, and light manual tasks. Work Environment: Allergens present; may involve confined spaces and high-stress situations; requires adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic setting.
