Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianAs a Maintenance Technician, you will focus on mechanical systems across CNC machining, industrial washers, heat treat processes, and conveyors lines. You will be working closely with electricians to minimize downtime and maintain a strong preventive maintenance program in a modern, air-conditioned plant.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical maintenance and repair on production equipment, including CNC machines, industrial washers, heat treat systems, conveyors, and assembly equipment to ensure continuous operationDiagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, including pumps and control valves, identifying root causes of failures and implementing effective repairsDiagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic systems, including control valves and conveying systems, testing cylinder seals, and checking fittings and valves for leaksTroubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, understanding their function, bearings, and related mechanical components to restore and maintain reliable operationEssential SkillsAt least 7 years of experience working in an industrial setting, preferably in automotive manufacturing or a similar high-volume production environmentStrong hydraulic troubleshooting skills, including understanding how pumps and control valves operate and how to diagnose and correct hydraulic issuesStrong pneumatic troubleshooting skills, including familiarity with air pneumatics, control valves, conveying systems, cylinder seals, and leak detection in fittings and valvesJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marysville, MI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.25 - $36.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
