Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging experts dedicated to delivering top-notch patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound equipment, you will conduct diagnostic procedures that help illuminate the path for our patients while collaborating closely with a network of compassionate healthcare professionals.

Description of Responsibilities

  • Perform a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure while clearly explaining every step
  • Team up with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in our electronic medical system
  • Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Education Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program

Certifications Required

  • Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

  • Proficient technical skills in sonography and patient positioning techniques
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Adept at multitasking in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
  • Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
