What You'll Do
Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on steel poles, utility structures, and fabricated components
Read and interpret blueprints, flat sheets, work orders, and welding layouts
Operate welding, plasma cutting, and oxy-acetylene equipment
Fabricate and weld structural steel components
Use measuring tools to ensure precision and quality standards
Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot welding equipment
Follow production, quality, and safety requirements
Prepare materials and components for final weld-off
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high-quality standards
Who We're Looking For
We welcome candidates ranging from recent welding school graduates and entry-level welders with hands-on welding training to experienced welders, fabricators, and highly skilled structural welders.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of production welding experience OR a technical welding degree/certificate
MIG welding experience required
Experience with Pulse Welding and Flux Core Welding preferred
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Experience with fabrication and measuring equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Commitment to workplace safety
Bonus Skills
AWS Welding Certification
Forklift experience
Plasma cutting and oxy-fuel cutting experience
Heavy industrial or structural fabrication experience
Experience working in manufacturing environments

- Up to $28/hr + shift differential
Welder C - Pole Setup (Advanced Level)
- Up to $32/hr + shift differential

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
