Job Summary and Qualifications This position is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of the modality for which they are currently cross-training. Communicates and works independently in performing all procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of St. David’s Healthcare Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions. What qualifications you will need: Registered technologist with current certification by ARRT (R) and CE compliance. ARRT (VI), (CV), or (MRI) certification within one (1) year of cross-training start date ARRT (CT) certification within six (6) months of cross-training start date Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through American Heart Association or ARC Graduate of AMA-approved school of radiologic technology Two years of previous diagnostic experience in an acute care facility Benefits St. David's South Austin Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
