Shape the future of HIV and LGBTQ health services.Job DescriptionMedical Director OverviewThe Medical Director will lead a primary care clinic specializing in HIV/AIDS treatment and LGBTQ+ health services.This role offers a competitive base salary, retention bonuses, and productivity incentives.Enjoy a 100% outpatient practice with no night or weekend shifts.Collaborate with a dedicated team including Practice Managers, MAs, and RNs.Benefit from comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.Contribute to a community-leading organization in HIV and LGBTQ health research.Relocation reimbursement and CME stipend are available for eligible candidates.Engage in both clinical and administrative duties to ensure operational excellence.Medical Director Key Responsibilities & DutiesProvide high-quality outpatient care to patients, focusing on HIV/AIDS treatment and LGBTQ+ health.Lead and mentor a team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and clinical staff.Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulatory requirements.Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures to enhance patient outcomes.Participate in shared call schedules to provide comprehensive patient support.Collaborate with the Regional Bureau Chief and senior medical leadership.Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.Engage in community outreach and education initiatives to promote health awareness.Medical Director Job RequirementsDoctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a valid state-specific Medical Board license.Minimum of 5 years of experience, with 7 years preferred in primary care.Experience in treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS patients in outpatient settings.AAHIVM Certification required within 18 months of hire.Valid DEA and Furnishing licenses, along with current CPR/BLS certification.Proficiency in managing clinical and administrative responsibilities effectively.Comfortable working with the LGBTQ+ community and diverse patient populations.Strong leadership skills to guide APPs and clinical teams.
