Requirements MaineHealth Maine Medical Center MHMMC Biddeford amp Sanford is looking for a locum Hematology Oncology physician ASAC! SUMMARY OF WORK: Seeing general hematology and oncology patients across a broad range of diagnoses. Working with APPs and other team members. Responding to in basket questions/concerns through Epic EMR. Taking phone calls from outside providers regarding patients known and unknown to the practice. About 10-15 patients per/day with a mix of new and follow up visits. Bone marrow biopsies optional as performed by APPs. CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS: Comfort with benign hematology as we do receive a significant volume of these referrals. SCHEDULE: Tuesday-Friday 8-hour days Weekend Coverage: No Call Coverage: No ABOUT THE SITE: Type of Position: Outpatient Size of practice: 2 physicians 2 APPs Will locum be working multiple locations: No Does your practice currently have residents/fellows: Occasional rotating fellow What makes your practice unique: Strong team that works well together and provides excellent physician support. Southern Maine community near seacoast and urban options. Length of contract you would like for the locum: 6-months How soon would you like locum to start: ASAP Trauma level: N/A Patient Census per day: 10-15 Patient Demographics: Adults Number of admissions per day: N/A Number of beds: N/A Open or Closed ICU: N/A Number of ICU beds: N/A 

Schedule Days, Tuesday- Friday, 8-hour shifts.
