Outside Sales Specialist

We are seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Outside Sales Specialist to join our growing sales division in Charlotte, NC.

In this role, you will be an active member of a division responsible for increasing sales within targeted markets across a predefined territory. You will identify opportunities, develop strategic relationships, support account growth, and help expand our presence with customers and organizations that influence purchasing decisions.

The Outside Sales Specialist will work with a variety of stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), distribution partners, educational organizations, prospective customers, and key decision-makers within target accounts. Success requires initiative, strong communication skills, consistent follow-up, and the ability to turn relationships into measurable sales opportunities.

Outside Sales Specialist Responsibilities

As an Outside Sales Associate, you will take a proactive approach to developing your assigned territory and supporting the division's sales objectives. Responsibilities include:

• Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities within targeted markets and assigned territories
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers and accounts
• Develop strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, distribution partners, educational organizations, and industry stakeholders
• Establish relationships with decision-makers and other key contacts within target accounts
• Research prospective accounts to identify organizational needs, purchasing opportunities, and appropriate points of contact
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-up through phone, email, virtual meetings, and other approved sales channels
• Educate prospective customers and partners on available products, services, and solutions
• Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from initial outreach and qualification through follow-up and closing
• Collaborate with internal sales teams and distribution partners to support territory growth
• Maintain consistent communication with prospects, customers, and strategic partners
• Track sales activity, account development, pipeline progression, and other key performance indicators
• Identify market trends, competitive activity, and potential opportunities within the assigned territory
• Maintain accurate and timely customer and prospect information within the company's CRM
• Work toward individual, territory, and divisional sales goals
• Represent the organization professionally while developing long-term relationships within the market
