OB/GYN – Full-Scope Generalist Opportunity Location: Greater New Haven, Connecticut AreaPosition Type: Permanent, Full-Time Position Overview

• Seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible OB/GYN

• New residency graduates are welcome to apply

• Reason for Opening: Physician retirement

• Start Date: As soon as available

• Join a private OB/GYN group with:

  • 8 OB/GYN Physicians

  • 5 Certified Nurse Midwives

• Group has been providing quality care in the community for ~50 years

• Affiliated with Yale New Haven Hospital

• Offices equipped with modern 3D ultrasound machines and skilled sonographers

• Practice provides care at:

  • 1 hospital (Yale New Haven)

  • 5 office locations across Greater New Haven

• Collaborative team environment embracing evidence-based midwifery-integrated care

• Inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care

• Perform GYN surgeries at the hospital and a state-of-the-art surgical center

• Conduct exams (Pap smears, pelvic, breast, abdominal, etc.)

• Prescribe and manage contraceptives and devices

• Manage admissions, discharges, and comprehensive patient records

• Use EPIC EMR

• Weekly rotation through all office locations

• In-office Monday–Friday (when not on call or post-call)

• Call schedule:

  • 24-hour calls with post-call day off

  • Group cross-covers with another practice — this team covers 50% of the calendar year calls

  • Multiple call schedule options: 1:6 or 1:8

• No late office hours

• Half-day Thursdays or Fridays

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (OB/GYN)

• Must obtain hospital privileges before starting
