Process Engineer (Temporary)

Overview Responsible for working with site leaders to identify and implement continuous improvement in all areas of site operations. Responsibilities Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety. Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations. Increase site productivity by implementing standard work, line balancing, and removing bottlenecks, in collaboration with the site management team. Establish baseline, develop measures/targets, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Align with the Business Excellence framework and identify/implement strategies to reduce waste and improve quality, directly impacting site costs. Use technical know-how for time studies, material/machine/information flows, layouts, and other analyses to identify improvements. Lead and/or implement improvements with controls in place to sustain results. Collect and analyze data, make recommendations, and drive implementation of opportunities. Gather and analyze manufacturing information to provide reliable data to implement solutions that drive business results. Introduce innovative ideas and technologies and act as a change agent to effectively implement and sustain them. Ensure and/or support compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards and relevant acts/regulations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering. 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations. Computer proficiency in Windows; experience with SAP and Minitab preferred. Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience is helpful. Ability to independently identify process problems/opportunities, determine root causes, and implement solutions. Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with maintenance teams and outside contractors. Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives. Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
