In this role, you'll manage all aspects of event planning and execution, from initial assignment through final billing, while partnering with multiple departments to ensure seamless operations. Your ability to anticipate needs, maintain accuracy, and foster strong client relationships will help create memorable events and drive repeat business for Loews Hotels.Who You Are:Creative Problem Solver: You adapt quickly and craft solutions that deliver outstanding results.Effective Communicator: You lead interactions with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.Forward Thinker: You use data and insight to anticipate needs and drive progress.Detail-Oriented Organizer: You keep every element on track while maintaining a big-picture perspective.Time Management Expert: You balance multiple priorities with confidence and efficiency.Relationship Builder: You create meaningful connections with clients and colleagues through consistent, professional support.Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.What You'll Do:Review assigned group files, contracts, and addenda for accuracy and completeness.Serve as the primary client contact, leading all communication and introductions to operational and vendor partners.Build strong client relationships through consistent, professional engagement and support.Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEO), group resumes, and other documentation to ensure seamless operational execution.Communicate event details and deadlines to clients, securing approvals and ensuring clarity throughout the planning process.Partner with reservations, credit, and billing teams to manage group room blocks and payment processes.Lead internal and client-facing meetings, including pre-convention planning sessions, to align on event needs.Maintain accurate booking information in Delphi, including space blocks, function details, and signed documents.Forecast and report on group food and beverage spend, and monitor room block performance.Drive incremental revenue through banquet food and beverage and room rental opportunities.Attend relevant hotel meetings, including staff, resume review, and BEO sessions.Regular attendance in conformance with standards.May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.Perform other duties as assigned.Your Qualifications Include:Minimum one year of experience in event management, sales, or related experience, in full-service hotel environment or minimum two years of experience in guest-facing Customer Service and or hospitality role, preferred.Knowledge of hotel operational departments.Must be able to partner effectively with clients, guests, and all levels of hotel staff and management.Proficient Microsoft Office Suite, Delphi and diagramming software experience, preferred.Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach, and lift/pull/push 35 plus pounds regularly throughout the shift.Loews Hotels & Co is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth and pregnancy-related conditions), gender identity or expression (including transgender status), sexual orientation, marital status, military service and veteran status, physical or mental disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws and ordinances. #J-18808-Ljbffr Loews Hotels & Co
